What can I return?

You may return any item that is unused, in new condition, or any item that was damaged upon receipt. Accessories, Customised styles and Stitched Blouses and Clothing are not returnable.

Can I return products purchased during Sale?

Products purchased during or on Sale will be eligible for returns or refunds only if there are any manufacturing defects. Accessories, Customised styles and Stitched Blouses and Clothing are not returnable.

Who Pay for Shipping?

Do not Worry, If an item is to be replaced due to damage upon receipt, Indian Tree  will reimburse the complete shipping costs for dispatch and return.

When the Items returned due to change of mind or sizing issues (definitive sizing information is posted on the site) required you to pay for dispatch and return item(s) to us, with an additional charge(s) of $30 AUD for per product as a restocking fee(s).

When will I get my refund?

 We will gladly Exchange or give Store Credit. Sorry no Refunds.

How can I claim my return?

For returns/exchanges requests kindly login to your account, click "My Returns/ Exchanges" and select the order number and place a request. You can also escalate a return request by emailing us on indiantree.help@gmail.com with the reason to return within 24-48 hours from the time the product is delivered. Our Service Manager will revert back to you within 24 hour’s time. You can also return/exchange at our Indian Tree stores in Melbourne, Australia.

Be extra alert when accepting parcel from courier:

If the outer packing is damaged or tampered with, do verify the items quality and quantity with an invoice before accepting the package from the courier agency. In case of any discrepancy, either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting suitable remark on the proof of delivery. Also lodge proper complain to the local office of the courier agency, so that we may pursue them.

In case if you do not like the product which you received from indian tree, please leave a message via "Request for Return" page or sending an email to indiantree.help@gmail.com. We are not giving full replacement of all the items, few items are handmade and manufactured upon order request. Those items cannot be returned back. We shall issue 75% refund of the cost of the product (25% shall be charged as Order Processing charges.)

Customer need to first contact us through "Request for Return" page on web site before returning any product. If you will return the products before let us know the same, then we will not provide any refund.

In case of genuine fault from our side, we will refund the money or we may replace the product without additional charges.

Once dispatching the order, if order / product will return to because of incomplete address / wrong address then we are not responsible in such cases and we will not provide any refunds. Times to ship mentioned on our website against each item are indicative and approximate values only and sometimes due to situations beyond our control, delays may occur. No refund, returns, replacement & exchange will be entertained for this reason If, for any reason, there is going to be a delay in shipping because an item is out of stock or if there is an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by e-mail. However any dates for delivery are approximate only and we are not liable for any delay in delivering your order or any part of it. We may choose to deliver your order in separate parts. In some cases we may offer to refund you for the unfulfilled part of the order.

Please read below points carefully before request for returns.

• Customer need to bare the shipping cost while returning the products.
• We will not refund the shipping charges paid by you while purchasing the item.


• We will not refund the customs duties or taxes, if applicable, or paid by you at time of receiving the goods.


• At any point of time the refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.


• Refunds would not be accepted for custom made / stitched clothing, including readymade stitched sarees or sarees stitched with custom blouse. However we would accept returns if there is any faults from our end.


• Any complaint with regards to the damage or stains or stitching or any other should be reported to us within 24 hrs of the receipt of the products. We may ask for digital picture of the same in order to review the same.

•To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

•To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  

•There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

•Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
